Physical Therapy

Physical therapy is proven effective to alleviate pain and promote wellness overall. Physical therapists are skilled in using evidence-based medicine to identify and address injuries and degenerative conditions.

Manual therapy

The physical therapist is trained in the science of manual manipulation. It is more than massage. Joints and soft tissues respond to specific gentle movements to mobilize joints and restore function.

Graston technique

This method was developed by athletes to treat soft tissue injuries directly. The Graston technique complements your therapeutic exercise program. Therapists use stainless steel instruments specially developed for hands on therapy. Graston instruments allow the PT to detect areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation. Running the instrument over affected tissue releases muscle knots. The technique alleviates pain and address its source.

Guided physical therapy program

Physical therapy heals through strengthening and realigning the body. Physical therapists teach patients how to manage and prevent injury and strain for long-term health benefits. PTs assess your condition and develop a custom treatment plan, guiding you through specific exercises and stretches. You receive a home program which will reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
