Dr. Leonard Kaplan combines the holistic approach of an osteopathic physician with the expertise of a nonsurgical spine and sports medicine specialist. He will take the time to help you understand how your body can safely heal itself. Dr. Kaplan’s single goal is to provide you the best and most comprehensive wellness environment that empowers you to return to activities you enjoy doing.

Dr. Kaplan has been a leader in the care of nonsurgical spine and sports care in Western New York for more than 10 years. He is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as pain medicine. As an osteopathic physician, he focuses on providing holistic care that is centered on his patients. Dr. Kaplan is one of the few clinicians in Western New York who is extensively trained in Prolo and PRP therapy for all regions of the body, including complicated chronic cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine conditions.

As a musculoskeletal expert, Dr. Kaplan is a pioneer in using ultrasound technology to diagnose and treat complicated spine, nerve and joint conditions in Western New York. He uses X-ray guidance and visualization for injections of spine disc and nerve injuries. Working closely with some of the top physical therapy groups in the region, Dr. Kaplan creates innovative programs to treat chronic spine and limb conditions. He maximizes patients’ healing potential by incorporating wellness counseling, including modalities like mindfulness stress reduction techniques. Dr. Kaplan oversees the only physician-supervised yoga program in Western New York.
